Website Design Scope
Active since 2014, the Smart Procurement website serves as the digital hub for industry news, job opportunities, and events. In 2022, I completely re-built the base website on WordPress using Elementor, implementing a fresh, modern design and enhanced functionality while ensuring continuity with the existing content structure.
- Over time, I strategically expanded the platform to include:
- A comprehensive content library of over 2,700+ articles across 79 categories, managed through optimised custom designed templates and automated content loops for easy publishing.
- A dedicated Job Portal (launched in 2023) featuring 4,500+ job applications, powered by WP Job Openings.
- A fully integrated Events Calendar (introduced in 2024) built with M.E Calendar, showcasing more than 75 events with registration functionality.
- A WooCommerce payment portal for event transactions.
- On-page SEO optimisation and ongoing performance tracking via SEMrush, ensuring consistent visibility and growth.
- Continuous website management, including article uploads, event and job updates, SEO audits, and training for the internal team to manage content efficiently.
